The public was invited to attend a City Council Study Session on February 21 and provide input on ideas for the production of affordable and workforce housing within Long Beach. The Study Session featured a presentation of existing and future affordable housing activities, and discussed strategies for encouraging and funding more affordable and workforce housing opportunities within the City. A draft report outlining the City’s housing efforts, Revenue Tools and Incentives for the Production of Affordable and Workforce Housing, was presented for community input.
