Historic Landmarks

Preserving and celebrating landmarks within Long Beach is a crucial component to preserving the shared architectural and cultural history of the city. Did you know there are over 150 historic landmarks in Long Beach? The Cultural Heritage Commission is responsible for the review of all nominations for the designation of historic landmark properties, pursuant to Chapter 2.63 of the Long Beach Municipal Code. To nominate a property, please review the procedures and nomination form and submit to historicpreservation@longbeach.gov.
