The Human Resources Talent Acquisition division supports city departments, employees, and applicants throughout the recruitment process for the City's workforce. The Human Resources Talent Acquisition division resides in the Talent Acquisition Bureau and is responsible for hiring classified and unclassified service positions. A strong focus is placed on revitalizing and centralizing key areas of the City’s recruitment and onboarding processes while curating a great candidate experience. The TA division enforces hiring practices that reflect and align with the City’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
We will:
- Hire a diverse workforce so the City can serve the community well.
- Communicate clearly with candidates and hiring managers.
- Track hiring data to learn what jobs we will need.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, colleges, vendors, associations, and other bodies to find job candidates.
