About Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP)
NFP is an evidence-based voluntary program that offers a free nurse mentor to provide:
- Pregnancy education and support
- Health promotion for optimum child development
- Promote Infant and child injury prevention
- Support skill building for self-sufficiency & confidence with motherhood

Who qualifies?
- Long Beach Residents
- Pregnant with your first child
- No more than 28 weeks pregnant
- All services are provided at no cost
- From 28 weeks in the pregnancy up until the child is 2 years old
