Long Beach, CA – The City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services (Health Department) invites community members to participate in an upcoming virtual community meeting where they can learn about the Tiny Modular Shelter project, or “Tiny Homes,” the City’s next variation of interim housing options for people experiencing homelessness.

At this meeting, City staff will share information on the proposed operations and criteria needed when looking at locations for Tiny Homes in Long Beach and its benefits, in addition to general updates on the local homelessness emergency proclamation.

The virtual community meeting will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, via Zoom. Advanced registration is required to receive the link to the meeting. Interpretation services will be available in Spanish, Khmer and Tagalog with additional languages available upon advanced request.
