Unauthorized occupants are individuals who reside in a housing unit without proper authorization from the Long Beach Housing Authority. This includes individuals who are not listed on the lease agreement or approved by the Housing Authority to reside in the unit.
Consequences for Unauthorized Occupancy:
The Long Beach Housing Authority takes unauthorized occupancy seriously. Consequences for unauthorized occupants may include lease termination, legal action, and/or loss of assistance.
How to Address Concerns:
If you suspect unauthorized occupants in a housing unit, it'simportant to take immediate action by reporting your concerns. Follow the steps outlined in the Fraud Report Form to report a potential case of unauthorized occupants.
