Be Prepared for Powerful Storms
Release Date: 2017-02-15Beginning Friday afternoon, the City of Long Beach is expecting significant precipitation in a short amount of time. Resources across the City are beginning to mobilize in preparation. Marine Safety will begin making preliminary advisories along both rivers to our populations of individuals experiencing homelessness. Current forecast anticipates 3-4 inches in the Long Beach area, starting Friday throughout the night with wind gusts of up 30-40mph. LBFD also encourages residents to plan ahead!
