Financial Assistance for Sidewalk Vendors
The City is offering a sidewalk vending support program, called Sidewalk to Success, to cover the costs of the required business license and health permit fees for operating in the first year and provide reimbursements for the first year of insurance costs. The Sidewalk to Success Program covers all license and permit costs at the time of the application. Each vendor will be reimbursed up to $450 for the cost of insurance.

Inclusive Business Navigators Program
The City’s Inclusive Business Navigators Program will provide free assistance with obtaining licenses, permits and insurance for sidewalk vendors. This will include business coaching and advising services for small businesses. Through this program, the City partners with four community-based organizations and will help guide sidewalk vendors through the business license and health permit process and assist in obtaining the required insurance, among other business assistance and resource needs.
