A sidewalk vendor business license and sidewalk vending permit are required for all vendors. Most vendors selling food items will also need a City Health Permit, dependent upon the type of business.

Financial and Technical Assistance
Sidewalk to Success, a sidewalk vending support program, covers the required business license and permit fees, as well as health permit fees, for operating during the first year of business. This benefit will remain available as long as program funds are available. The program also provides reimbursement of up to $450 for the required insurance, along with business and technical assistance.
