Cannabis Business Licenses

The Business License Division within the Department of Financial Management licenses all cannabis businesses within the City of Long Beach. 

You must have a cannabis business license if your Long Beach business does any of the following with cannabis:

• Cultivation, manufacture, or processing.

• Distribution, transportation, storage, or delivery.

• Laboratory testing, packaging, labeling, or sales (retail).

• Holding cannabis for business purposes.
