Long Beach Safe & Secure Grant

The Long Beach Safe & Secure Grant Program provides financial assistance for small businesses to install security cameras, flood lighting and alarm systems to improve visibility and help protect employees, customers and storefronts.

Businesses may receive grants of $750 or $1,500 to purchase and install eligible security improvements. Storefronts of 1,500 square feet or less may qualify for a $750 grant, while storefronts between 1,500 and 5,000 square feet, or those with 25 or more linear feet of street frontage, may qualify for a $1,500 grant.

The Program offers two levels of funding based on business size. Businesses with a storefront of 1,500 square feet or less may receive grants of up to $500 for essential security upgrades, including cameras, floodlighting, and alarm systems. Businesses with storefronts between 1,500 and 5,000 square feet, or with 25 or more linear feet of street frontage, may qualify for up to $1,500 to support more comprehensive security installations.
