Santa Fe Avenue Business Corridor

Santa Fe Avenue Business Corridor

The Economic Development & Opportunity team has been actively engaging with businesses along the Santa Fe Avenue business corridor, from Anaheim to Willow Streets, to better understand local needs and opportunities. These conversations are providing valuable insight into how the City can support business growth and strengthen the Westside economy.

As part of the Westside Promise initiative, the EDO is exploring ways to create jobs, expand workforce training opportunities and drive long-term economic growth. A key effort is the establishment of a new business association dedicated to Retail Trade and Accommodation & Food Services on the Westside.

This new association would complement the existing Westside Business Association of Long Beach, which primarily serves the industrial area bounded by Pacific Coast Highway to the north, 9th Street to the south, the 710 Freeway to the east, and Wilmington to the west.
