
Youth Invited to Summer Kickoff Event on June 13

The event is taking place Friday, June 13, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network (LBWIN) Youth Career Services Center (508 W. Willow St.).
The free event will feature information booths from approximately 30 participating agencies, including City departments, nonprofits and community organizations, offering a variety of programs and services, including internship and employment opportunities, job training, case management, mental health support and more. The event will also offer engaging activities, creative craft stations, a photo booth, music, food andmore.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP online.
This event aligns with the City’s Summer of Opportunity initiative, a collective impact approach focused on fostering positive development among Long Beach youth while simultaneously addressing youth violence.
