Small businesses are central to the Long Beach community and a vital part of the City's culture and economy. Small Business Saturday is an annual event created to encourage consumers to shop local for the holiday season.  This event takes place on Saturday, November 26. 

Reasons to Shop Local

• For every $100 spent at local businesses, $68 will stay in the community.
• Small businesses increase local competition and innovation. 
• Small businesses account for over 60% of all new jobs.

Free Parking

Enjoy free parking at the following locations on Small Business Saturday.

• Downtown Long Beach: Street parking south of 10th Street including the Pike Outlets
• Belmont Shore: Belmont Shore, including street parking and at the 5 public parking lots

The City Place garage located in Downtown Long Beach will continue to remain free for the first two hours. City Place garages A, B, and C are accessible on Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Streets between Pine Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard. No validation is required for the first two hours.

Free Local Shuttle

LB Circuit is operating free shuttles in the Downtown Long Beach – Alamitos Beach neighborhoods as part of the Micro-Transit Shuttle program. Two of the shuttles will be ADA-accessible to accommodate wheelchair use. ADA-accessible shuttles will be available upon request through the mobile app. 

The Micro-Transit Shuttle program hours of operation on Small Business Saturday, November 26, are 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
