Council District 9 is proud to launch LEAD Uptown Academy—a brand-new initiative designed to Learn, Empower, Advocate, and Develop community members into strong advocates for Uptown.

This experience will bring neighbors together for a chance to:

• Gain resources and insights to strengthen your leadership skills
• Learn directly from panelists and community leaders
• Build connections with fellow Uptown residents
• Take action to make our neighborhoods stronger and more resilient

When: Saturday, October 4th
Time: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: Houghton Park, 6301 Myrtle Ave., Long Beach
