The Leap Year gives us an extra day this year. An extra day to work, to play, to be a part of positive change for our communities. The coming week will be filled with opportunities to do a little bit of each!
Your City Council will hear reports from the Long Beach Police Department and Long Beach Fire Department during the Public Safety Committee meeting.
During the City Council Regular Session, we will discuss supporting The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), designating the Alamitos Neighborhood Library as a Historical Landmark, electronic motorized boards ("hoverboards"), and the proposed Transactions & Use Tax and Rainy Day Fund measures for Long Beach voters.
