Orange Avenue Construction Community Meeting

Release Date: 2014-10-31

In a continuing effort to provide Seventh District residents an input in determining infrastructure improvement in their own neighborhoods, my office is collaborating with the City of Long Beach, Department of Public Works to organize a community briefing on proposed street improvement for Orange Avenue.

As part of the district's overall capital improvement efforts, we have selected Orange Avenue for implementation of your hard-earned tax dollars. The proposed construction will improve Orange Avenue from Wardlow Road to Bixby Road. Sidewalks, curbs and gutters will be replaced at various locations and the street will be resurfaced with a new asphalt overlay, which will replace the concrete that currently covers the street.

WHAT: Orange Avenue Construction Community Meeting
WHERE: Dana Branch Library, Community Room, 3680 Atlantic Avenue
WHEN: Thursday, November 6, 2014, 6:00-7:30 pm

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact my office at (562) 570-7777 or district7@longbeach.gov.
