Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic

As of October 2015, Long Beach has a mandatory spay/neuter law. Cats must be fixed by 4 months old and dogs must be fixed by 6 months old. In addition, it is healthier to have your pet fixed, as there is a reduced risk of cancer and other serious health problems. In order to assist residents into compliance, Councilmember Roberto Uranga will be working with Fix Long Beach and Friends of Long Beach Animals to host a Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic.
To participate you must send an email to info@fixlongbeachpets.com with:
1. Your Name, 2. Address, 3. Phone Number, 4. Dog's Name, 5. Dog's Age, 6. Dog's Sex, 7. Dog's Breed, 8. Dog's Weight.
The requirements include that the Dogs must weigh 2.5 - 55 lbs and must be at least 3 months old.
The Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic will be at Somerset Park, 1500 East Carson Street, Long Beach, CA 90807 on Saturday, June 8, 2019 starting at 7a.m.
