About Adopt-a-Child
Every year the Century Villages at Cabrillo's, Oasis Community Center runs an Adopt-a-Child program for the less fortunate kids and teens that live at the Villages at Cabrillo in Long Beach. The Center works with other organizations and the community to get all of the kids "adopted". Each child makes a list of essential items needed such as clothes, shoes, and “want” items such as a toy.
Getting Involved
Bring a gift: Individuals or businesses can sponsor a child by providing holiday gufts for a less fortunate child. Gifts can include clothes, shoes, jackets, and toys. We ask that you please drop off unwrapped gifts to the Oasis Community Center by December 12th. Please contact us for an Adopt-a-Child wish list.
Monetary Gift: Individuals and businesses can sponsor a less fortunate child for only $50-$75. We will do the shopping for you.
