Long Beach Continuum of Care Receives Grant

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded the Long Beach Continuum of Care (CoC) $6.2 million to provide services to homeless individuals and families. The CoC is led by the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services and consists of twelve agencies that provide shelter and housing for the homeless in our community.

The grant will fund nineteen projects, including 740 beds available for emergency shelter, transitional housing and permanent supportive housing for households experiencing homelessness in Long Beach.Linkages to these services are coordinated through the Multi-Service Center (MSC), which be reached at 562-570-4500 should you have any questions.
