Additional Watering Day

On June 2, 2016 the Long Beach Board of Water Commissioners declared a Stage 1 Water Supply Shortage, rescinding the Stage 2 Water Supply Shortage ( Board Resolution WD-1353). The adoption of the Stage 1 Supply Shortage means that one additional outdoor watering day will now be permitted during the hot and dry summer months. Watering is allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from April 1 through September 30. From October 1 through March 31 when the temperature is cooler and there is more natural rainfall, watering will only be allowed on Tuesdays and Saturdays. All other restrictions previously in effect under Stage 2 remain in effect and are listed on the Water Department's website.
