Councilmember Zendejas invites you to explore Together As One to discover upcoming policies, programs, and initiatives designed to address the evolving needs of the First District.  

This Policy Roadmap for the First District reflects the Councilmember’s lifelong commitment to equity, accessibility, and opportunity for all. Rooted in her personal journey and inspired by the vibrant District One community, this strategy prioritizes housing security and affordability, economic vitality, public health, and fostering a strong sense of community.

With this plan, Councilmember Zendejas is dedicated to ensuring that every resident of the First District feels supported, empower, and proud to call this diverse and dynamic area home.

• Public and Community Safety  

• Economic Development and Infrastructure 

Together, we will shape our future guided by council norms, best practices in policymaking, and the financial realities ahead, including reduced revenue due to mandated cuts in oil production.  

This report includes a demographic snap shot of district one based on GIS maps, an outline of prior policy enacted, and a detailed report outlining plans for the next two years.
