1st Annual Independence Day Dog Parade

Celebrate Independence Day in Downtown Long Beach Honoring Vets and Pets for their service. We will be awarding 5 Honorees and their dogs for their dedicated Service to the Community—including police, fire and veterans. We will recognize the veterans who are giving back to their community and putting service above all. We are thankful to have the opportunity to celebrate our Independence Day, always grateful to those who served our country.

Participants must be District 1 residents. All dogs must have vaccines up to date. Dogs must be leashed at all times. 4th of July attire for handler and dog encouraged. Please make sure your dogs are comfortable being around people and other dogs in crowded areas with their outfits. Ensure that your dogs get plenty of rest and water days before the event. Shading area will be provided for pet owners with water bowls.
