Andrea Gunn Eaton is a seasoned legal professional with a diverse background in public interest law and labor and employment litigation. She currently serves as the Chief Campus Counsel and Vice Chancellor - Legal Affairs for the University of California, Irvine, where she manages the legal operations across the enterprise, including the core campus and academic medical center with its related facilities. She previously served in various capacities within the California State University system, including as Assistant Vice Chancellor & Chief Counsel - Business and Finance and as University Counsel for several campuses. Her expertise extends to areas such as land use, construction, environmental law, and educational equity. Andrea's commitment to public service is evident in her work with the Texas Civil Rights Project, where she led public education efforts and civil rights litigation. Andrea is also a longtime volunteer with Long Beach non-profit organizations, including the Junior League of Long Beach and Literary Women.
