On December 4, 2015, a Los Angeles Superior Court denied a Petition for Writ of Mandate upholding the Long Beach Civil Service Commission’s decision, which upheld the City Manager’s decision to suspend Lt. William McDonald for four days for engaging in unprofessional and disrespectful behavior with fellow officers while he was off duty.
