BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Mr. Diao is a Deputy City Attorney who represents the City of Long Beach and city employees in a variety of civil actions, including publicproperty liability and employee negligence.
Prior to joining the City Attorney’s Office, Mr. Diao was in private practice defending medical professionals and facilities against professional negligence/malpractice cases and public entities against general liability claims involving premises liability.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Mr. Diao is admitted to practice before all the Courts in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
EDUCATION
Mr. Diao received his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University and received his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law.
