IN-KIND DONATIONS

Your generosity helps us provide comfort, care, and enrichment to the animals at our shelter. Below is a list of our most-needed items. Donations may be placed in the designated bins at LBACS, located in front of the Animal Admissions Entrance under the white tarp.

If you would like to donate something that is not listed, please e-mail us at lbacscommunications@longbeach.gov so we can confirm we can use your item.

TRUST FUND DONATIONS

Make a lasting impact by contributing to one of LBACS’ dedicated trust funds. Your donation helps provide critical care, medical support, and resources that directly benefit the animals in our shelter. 

Donate to our TRUST FUND. During checkout, you may choose to direct your gift to one of the following funds:

• Dr. Eslinger Memorial Spay and Neuter Fund -  Supports spay and neuter services to help reduce pet overpopulation.
• Medical Care Fund - Helps provide medical treatment and lifesaving care for sick and injured animals.
• Shelter Improvement Fund - Supports enhancements that improve the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of shelter pets.
• General Animal Care Trust Fund - Provides flexible support for the daily care and needs of animals at LBACS.

KURANDA SHELTERBEDS

The animals in our care are always looked after and made comfortable while they wait for their forever families. Donating a Kuranda Shelter Bed helps us provide durable, cozy resting spaces that make their time with us even more comfortable.

  • Dog (dry or canned), Cat (dry or pate), Kitten (milk replacer, dry, or pate ), and Puppy food (dry or canned)
