IN-KIND DONATIONS

Below is a list of items that are especially helpful to our shelter. If you’d like to contribute, donations can be placed in the designated bins at LBACS in front of the Animal Admissions Entrance, under the white tarp. Thank you for supporting the animals in our care.

• Kitten Milk Replacer Formula (KMR)
• Miracle Nipples
• Nursing Bottles
• Newspaper
• Light Weight Blankets (We do not accept sheets)
• Towels (Please make sure they have no holes)

If you would like to donate something that is not listed, please e-mail us at animalcare@longbeach.gov so we can confirm we can use your item.

KURANDA SHELTERBEDS

The animals in our care are always looked after and made comfortable while they wait for their forever families. Donating a Kuranda ShelterBed helps us provide durable, cozy resting spaces that make their time with us even more comfortable.

  • Dog (dry or canned), Cat (dry or pate), Kitten (milk replacer, dry, or pate ), and Puppy food (dry or canned)
  • Soft Dog Treats (e.g. Natural Balance Rolls or Solid Gold)

  • Cats (mice, plastic jingle balls, crinkle balls, scratchers, cat toys, etc.)
  • Dogs (squeaky toys, KONG, no rawhide)

  • Collars, leashes, harnesses, Gentle Leaders & clickers
