| |  |  | | | | | | Current Internship Opportunities | | Operations Center Intern - Interns will assist in supporting City Data Center server systems. They will support infrastructure tasks such as installing and monitoring various real or virtual servers, disk storage and Windows or UNIX operating systems. They may also be involved in backup of these systems.
Requirements: College seniors or graduates with course work or experience in information technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel with some knowledge of server administration. Server Support Intern – Intern will work with the City’s Server Support team in various administration tasks such as Windows active directory changes, server builds, Windows server backup and monitoring.
Requirements: College seniors or graduates with course work or experience with Windows server administration. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Open systems Intern – Intern will work with the City’s Open Systems team in various administration tasks such as HP OpenView administration, UNIX/LINUX server backup and SAN storage administration.
