Current Internship Opportunities
Applications Development Intern - Interns will work with professional applications developers in all stages of the applications development life cycle from requirements gathering to application deployment. Projects will include development of intranet and internet applications to support City operations.
Requirements: College students or recent graduates with coursework or experience with the Microsoft .NET application development tools, Java, or relational database design. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Smartphone Developer Intern - Intern will work with the City's application development team to the design and develop new smartphone applications.
Requirements: College students or recent graduates with coursework or experience with iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry application development. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills.


Web Designer Intern - Intern will work with the City's web support team to the design and develop new websites and participate in the administration of the City's internet and intranet sites as well at the web servers. The intern will also be involved with maintaining the City's social media sites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
Requirements: College students or recent graduates with coursework or experience with web site design. Candidate should be proficient with HTML, XML, CSS, ASP, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Experience with video conversions/distribution, Javascript, Flash, Illustrator, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Web Hosting/Administration/Analytics is a plus. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
