For the ninth consecutive year, the City of Long Beach has been named a Top 10 Digital City in a survey conducted by the Center for Digital Government, a national research and advisory institute focused on information technology policies and best practices in state and local government. Long Beach was recognized for its efforts to build modern technology infrastructure and efficient foundational systems; innovate to protect public safety using technology; and improve public engagement through open data and enhanced payment systems.
