Potholes

The Public Works Department will respond to potholes that are our responsibility. Please see below for instructions on how to properly report a pothole and to learn more about how we manage potholes.

Report a Pothole ------------------------------------------------------------ To report a pothole call our hotline: (562) 570-3259 Before you call, please identify the street address where the pothole is located and the nearest intersection. This will help us to respond effectively. Examples include: 1) Northbound #2 lane of Pacific Coast Highway in front of collage 2) Northwest corner of XX Street and XX Avenue

After the Call ------------------------------------------------------------ Once we receive a service request, we will inspect the site in 7-10 days and prioritze the request based on severity. If an address is provided, we will mail a postcard confirmation of the service request. For additional assistance, please call our street maintenance number: (562) 570-2700
