The Public Works Department will respond to potholes that are our responsibility. Please see below for instructions on how to properly report a pothole and to learn more about how we manage potholes. To report a pothole call our hotline (562) 570-3259 Before you call, please identify the street address where the pothole is located and the nearest intersection. This will help us to respond effectively. Examples include: 1) Northwest corner of XX Street and XX Avenue  2) Northbound #2 lane of Pacific Coast Highway in front of college Once we receive a service request, we will inspect the site in 7-10 days and prioritze the request based on severity. If an address is provided, we will mail a postcard confirmation of the service request.
