CONCEALED-CARRY WEAPONS (CCW) PERMIT INFORMATION

NEWS: RECENT NINTH CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS RULING

On Feburary 13, 2014, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that San Diego County violated the Second Amendment by requiring individuals to show "good cause" when applying for a concealed-carry weapons (CCW) permit (Peruta v. County of San Diego).

On February 27, 2014, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and the State of California filed petitions for Rehearing En Banc and Stay Issuance of the Mandate and both petitions were granted. To view the petition in full, click on the link below:
