Jorge Cisneros

Commander Cisneros was hired by the Long Beach Police Department in February of 1991. He is currently assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police.

 

During his career with the Long Beach Police Department he has had the opportunity to work Detectives, Patrol, Burglary, Homicide, Investigations Bureau Administration, Internal Affairs, Office of Counter Terrorism and as an Academy Instructor.

 

Commander Cisneros is a member of the California Police Officer’s Association, Latino Managers and Professionals Organization, California Homicide Investigators Association, Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy Association, American Youth Soccer Organization and the Chief’s Latino Advisory Group.

 

Commander Cisneros is a graduate of the Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute, Leadership Long Beach, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy. He holds a Bachelor’s of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master’s of Art degree from Chapman University.
