 BOARD OF EXAMINERS, APPEALS AND CONDEMNATION
The seven member Board of Examiners, Appeals and Condemnation hears cases involving alternate methods and materials for construction; provides reasonable interpretations to the Municipal Code; provides administrative review process for determinations of the Building Official, substandard housing cases, property maintenance, and public nuisance abatement cases.

 DISABLED ACCESS APPEALS BOARD
The five member Disabled Access Appeals Board hears appeals relating to handicapped requirements and access to buildings and structures and grants exceptions to State mandated codes.

 CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION
The fifteen member Cultural Heritage Commission reviews design of all changes to designated properties, and identifies buildings and neighborhoods with architectural and historical value, recommending designation as City landmarks to the Mayor and City Council and Planning Commission
