Parking Meters

The City of Long Beach has new single-spaced on-street parking meters that accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) in Downtown Long Beach, The Pike and Second Street in Belmont Shore.

New rates immediately take effect at that space after a smart parking meter is installed. If you see a meter that still only accepts coin, the old rate will remain in effect.

**Important: The cash keys will not work on the new smart meters. Please exhaust the time on your cash keys and refrain from loading more time.
