Claymation Camp

Have you ever wanted to make your own movie like 'Pirates-Band of Misfits' or 'Wallace & Grommit'?
Then join this exciting camp where students will storyboard their idea, then design, create and animate
their own clay character. The process starts by building an armature or 'skeleton' for the character.
Then all layers of clay are applied until the character is ready for the camera. Students get to operate
digital cameras and make their characters come to life. After the filming is complete, they will become
the voices by supplying the voice-overs for each character. A copy of the movie can be uploaded to a
USB drive (not provided), or downloaded off our website. Material fee: $30.

Eureka Camp

Campers will spend their week overcoming a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines,
and tips from famous inventors like Thomas Edison, Leonardo Da Vinci and Rube Goldberg. Most
important of all, they will use their minds and a little bit of ingenuity to create catapults, forts,
construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light
bulbs. They will even create their own Patent Proposal! While Thomas Edison said, 'Invention is
10% inspiration and 90% perspiration,' campers will say, 'This camp is 100% FUN!'
