Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine (LBPRM) offers a variety of summer camps for boys and girls ages 5-12. Held during the summer months at parks throughout the City, campers are able to experience sports, games, tournaments, art, aquatics, excursions, team building, new friendships and more. Parents can know that their child care needs are met in LBPRM's camps with enriching activities conducted by enthusiastic, caring camp staff.


All camps operate from June 22 to August 28, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
unless otherwise noted. Extended hours are available from 7- 9 a.m. and 4- 6 p.m. at an additional cost. Field trips are an additional cost and will vary by site. Financial Aid is available and is subject to limited availability. Inquire at camp site.

Belmont Junior Beach Camp
(ages 5-7)

Full day pre-school or kindergarten experience required. Games, crafts, beach play, American Red Cross swim lessons, excursions, canoeing and sailing. $155 per week.


Bayshore Beach Camp
(ages 8-12)

Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, crafts, excursions and weekly Marine Biology lesson. $155 per week.


Bay Club Teen Camp
(ages 13-15)

Must have completed 7th grade. Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, beach activities and excursions. $118 per week.


Counselor in Training Camp
(ages 13-17)

Must have completed 8th grade. Participants learn team building, camper supervision and boating skills. Must attend entire three-week session from July 6-24. $310/session.
