For children ages 5-12. Activities include sailing, canoeing, kayaking, arts & crafts, games and an excurson to the Aquarium of the Pacific! Staff to camper ratio is 1:8. All staff are trained lifeguards certified in First Aid and CPR.

1 one-week session, April 6-10, $155 per week, 9am-4pm. Extended day care, 7-9am and 4-6pm available at additional cost of $25-$50 per week. Program fees due at time of registration.

Registration for Spring Camp will be conducted online beginning March 1 or in person at the Aquatics Camps Office by appointment only.

Registration for the summer program will be accepted ONLINE & IN PERSON on a first come, first served basis beginning April 15, 2015. Program fees are due at the time of registration. Families wishing to register for multiple weeks are required to pay for the first week in full plus a $20 non-refundable deposit for each additional week reserved. Register online anytime. Walk-in registration will be accepted at the Recreation Administration Office, Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm and the Aquatics Camps Office by appointment only. Beginning June 1, Aquatics Camps Office hours will be 7-11am.



  • All Aquatics Camps staff are certified lifeguards trained in First Aid and CPR. Staff to camper ratio at Belmont Junior Beach Camp and Bayshore Beach Camp is 1:8. Staff to camper ratio at Bay Club Teen Camp is 1:10.
  • Swim lessons are taught at both Belmont Junior Beach Camp and Bayshore Beach Camp. Swim lessons are not conducted on excursion days. There is no additional charge for swim lessons.
  • Excursion fees vary. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt that is to be worn on excursion days.

    Belmont Junior Beach Camp

    Ages 5-7, with full day preschool or kindergarten experience. Join us near the Belmont Outdoor Pool for summer fun. Campers enjoy games, crafts, beach play, songs, American Red Cross swimming lessons and excursions. Canoeing & sailing is conducted once a week at Leeway Sailing Center.

    Bayshore Beach Camp

    Ages 8-12, Campers will explore a variety of aquatic sports and activites. The camp includes sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, crafts, field trips & features environmental activites. A 45-minute Marine Biology lesson is conducted twice each week.

    10 one-week sessions, June 22 - August 28, $155 per week, 9 am- 4 pm. Extended day care, 7-9 am and 4-6 pm at additional cost of $25-$50 per week.

    Bay Club Teen Camp
    Ages 13-15, must have completed 7th grade. Learn the basics of exciting water sports such as sailing, canoeing and kayaking in addition to beach activities & field trips.

    9 one-week sessions, June 22 - August 21, $120 per week, noon-5 pm.


  • Ages 13-17, must have completed 8th grade. Participants learn team building activities, camper supervision and boating skills. Participants must be able to attend the entire 3- week session.
