To request registration materials by mail; call the Aquatics camps Office at 570-1888. Materials will also be available at the Recreation Administration Office Monday - Friday between 9am - 5:30 pm beginning March 1. The registration form may be downloaded by clicking on the link below.

Aquatics Summer Camps Flyer & Registration Form

SUMMER REGISTRATION DAY: SATURDAY, MAY 5 8AM - 11AM

Aquatics Camps Office: 4000 Olympic Plaza

Registration for the summer program will be accepted in person, on a first come, first served basis beginning Saturday, May 5 from 8-11am at the Aquatics Camp Office and the Recreation Administration Office. Program fees are due at the time of registration. Families wishing to register for multiple weeks are required to pay for the first two (2) weeks in full plus a $20 non-refundable deposit for each additional week reserved.

Beginning May 7, walk-in registration will be accepted only at the Aquatics Camps Office, Monday - Friday from 9am- 3pm. Mail-in registration will be processed in the order received beginning May 7.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • All Aquatics Camps staff are certified lifeguards trained in First Aid and CPR. Staff to camper ratio at Belmont Junior Aquatics Camp is 1:8. Staff to camper ratio at Bayshore Marine Biology Camp and Bay Club Teen Camp is 1:10.
  • Swim lessons are taught on a daily basis at Belmont Junior Aquatics Camp in the Outdoor Pool. Swim lessons are not conducted on excursion days. There is no additional charge for swim lessons.
  • Excursion fees vary and are not included in the registration fee. Excursion fees are paid weekly at Camp. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt that is to be worn on excursion days.

Belmont Junior Aquatics Camp

Ages 5-8, with full day preschool or kindergarten experience. Join us on the beach side, covered patio area at Belmont Plaza Pool for summer fun. Campers enjoy games, crafts, beach play, songs, Red Cross swimming lessons, field trips, canoeing & sailing once a week at Leeway Sailing Center.

Bayshore Marine Biology Camp

Ages 9-12, must have completed 3rd grade. Marine Biology enthusiasts will explore a variety of aquatic sports and activites. The camp includes sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, crafts, field trips & features environmental activites. A 45-minute Marine Biology lesson is conducted twice each week.


11- one week sessions, June 18- August 31, $150 per week, 9am- 4pm. Extended day care, 7-9 am and 4-6 am at additional cost of $25-$50 per week. Camp will not be held on Wednesday, July 4. Fees for this week will be prorated.

Bay Club Teen Camp
Ages 13-17, must have completed 7th grade. Learn the basics of exciting water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking in addition to beach activities & field trips.

10- one week sessions, June 18 - Aug 24, $115 per week, noon - 5pm.

Counselor-In-Training

Ages 13-17, must have completed the 8th grade. Participants learn team building activities, camper supervision and boating skills. The 3-week fee is $345. M-F, July 30 - August 17, 9am-4pm. Participants must be able to attend the entire 3- week session.
