Learning to read music is challenging for guitarists. We will use a

beginning classical book (Aaron Shearer’s Classic Guitar Technique,

Vol 1). Bring your own guitar to class, and learn simple pieces and

Learn proper hand techniques, production of basic sounds, exercises

for stamina, speed & rhythm while focusing on traditional rhythms, their

culture origins & applications from the West African Countries. Bring a
