Adopt-A-Beach
A great opportunity for groups and organizations to participate in the improvement of their community.Your group commits to cleaning any 1/4 mile stretch of beach four times a year.Bags and gloves will be provided, call 570-1746 for application.

Adopt-A-Wetland
Are you looking for a fun and easy way to give back to the environment and your community?Join us to learn more about our fragile wetland habitats and how to protect them.Third Saturday, 2 - 4 p.m., please call 570-1746.

Dedicate-A-Tree
Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine offers a unique and thoughtful way to recognize individuals and/or special occasions by having a tree planted in a city park.  Trees can be planted between the months of October and May (NO plantings will take place from June through September since this is not a good time to plant trees), and you will have the opportunity to request the park, as well as the type of tree to be planted.  However, staff reserves the right to adjust the park site or tree type to assure compatability with the Park Master Plan and low-water usage guidelines. For details call 570-4896.

Dedicate-A-Bench
Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine offers a unique and thoughtful way to recognize individuals and/or special occasions by having a memorial bench, including a plaque, placed at a park within the city.  You will have the opportunity to request the park, and location, however, staff reserves the right to adjust the park site to assure compatability with the Park Master Plan.  For more information please call Maintenance Operations at (562) 570-1582.
