A great opportunity for groups and organizations to participate in the improvement of their community.Your group commits to cleaning any 1/4 mile stretch of beach four times a year.Bags and gloves will be provided, call 570-4885 for application.

Adopt-A-Wetland
Are you looking for a fun and easy way to give back to the environment and your community?Join us to learn more about our fragile wetland habitats and how to protect them.Third Saturday, 2 - 4 p.m., please call 570-4885.

Dedicate-A-Tree
Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine offers a unique and thoughtful way to recognize individuals and/or special occasions by having a tree planted in a city park.For details call 570-4897.

El Dorado Nature Center
Classes on nature, sustainability and the environment are available each month that help us to learn more about what we all can do to make our community a healthy and safe place for people and animals alike. Contact the Center at 570-1745.

2007 International Coastal Cleanup
