Learning to read music is challenging for guitarists. We will use a beginning classical book (Aaron Shearer’s Classic Guitar Technique, Vol 1). Class for adults with little or no previous instruction in basic hand positioning, technique, and keyboard alphabet. You will be able to perform simple arrangements of folk tunes and well-known melodies using the alphabet approach. Intermediate students welcome. Piano book needed. Cost approximately $10.
