Long Beach Transit Changes During Grand Prix
Routes 61, 71, 72
April 20-21: Due to high congestion along Ocean Blvd. during race days, route 61, 71 and 72 buses will not travel along Ocean, but instead will travel along 1st Street.

Route 121
April 19-21: Buses will operate between the Traffic Circle, CSULB and Belmont Shore/ Naples to the Grand Prix gates downtown. Bus boardings will be available downtown along Ocean Blvd. Please note that in past years, customers would be traveling this route on a Passport shuttle, but this year it will be on a regular fixed route bus with Route 121 in the headsign. Additional peak hour service will be available to and from the race entrance and Marina Drive at 2nd Street only. These additional buses will read “Special Event” in the headsign.

Passport
April 18: Buses will bypass the Passport Center on Pine Ave (between 3st Street and Ocean Blvd.). Please board buses along Pacific Ave or on Pine Ave. (north of 3rd Street or south of Ocean Blvd.).

April 19: Buses will bypass the Passport Center on Pine Ave (between 3st Street and Ocean Blvd.). Please board buses along Pacific Ave or Ocean Blvd. There will be no service to the Pike or Shoreline Village. Buses will serve the Aquarium of the Pacific and the Queen Mary.

April 20-21: No service to the Pike, Shoreline or Aquarium. There will be no buses on Pine Ave south of 3rd Street. Please board along Pacific Ave. There will be no stops until the bus arrives at the Queen Mary. From the Queen Mary, there will be no stops until Pacific at Ocean Blvd.
AquaBus

April 20-21: The boats will be running special service during race weekend from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with service at the following docks: Queen Mary, Hotel Maya, Dock 7 at Pine Circle and Dock 9 at Shoreline Village. Fare is $1 from one stop to the other.

Please note that due to traffic congestion during race weekend, there could be some travel delays. Please plan accordingly. Long Beach Transit representatives will also be available in-person to assist with travel planning at the Transit and Visitor Information Center at 130 E 1st Street and in the Expo at the Grand Prix.
