What is the C-SPAN Bus?

The C-SPAN Bus is a 45-foot interactive, multi-media learning center that brings C-SPAN's coverage of public affairs to communities nationwide and teaches the public how to follow Washington Your Way. Educators, students, and local residents are welcomed aboard!

What's inside?

Interactive stations demonstrating C-SPAN programming, online resources, how to follow the 113th Congress with C-SPAN's Congressional Chronicle web site, and how to use C-SPAN Video Library -- an archive featuring 190,000 hours of C-SPAN programming.

NEW this year!

The C-SPAN Bus showcases C-SPAN's new original series, First Ladies: Influence and Image. Airing on Mondays at 9pm ET on C-SPAN, it will be the first ever television series to showcase all of the American first ladies from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama.

The Aquarium of the Pacific is hosting its 4th Annual Poetry Contest as part of the Urban Ocean Festival. Poems submitted must address the following theme:

 

Humans and Nature: Coexisting with an Urban Ocean

Maximum length: 300 words

One entry per person
