The Long Beach Community Action Partnership is bringing Public Access Television to Long Beach

Great news! PADNET- The Long Beach Public Access Digital Network went LIVE to our community with pre-launch programming on August 31st.
If you flip your TV to Charter Channel 32 or Verizon Channel 41, PADNET will be airing updates from bulletin boards, teasers for upcoming shows from Long Beach residents and more!
The mission at PADNET is to empower Long Beach residents with quality resources to create and share locally produced news, information and entertainment that fosters community pride and civic engagement.

Los Angeles County and the Superior Court 

are looking for well-qualified citizens who may be interested in applying for the 2013-2014 Los Angeles Civil Grand Jury which will be impaneled on July 1, 2013.


This is virtually a full time obligation over a period of one year. The deadline to submit an application form is November 26, 2012.  


The primary function of the Civil Grand Jury is to investigate county, city and joint-power agencies and to act as a "watch-dog" by examining carefully and completely the operations of various government agencies within Los Angeles County

All are welcome to attend this workshop designed to inform the public about the process of restoring the Los Cerritos Wetlands and receive public comment. 


Parking will will be validated free of charge for all workshop participants. 



Cubberley School is inviting neighborhood artisans, businesses, non-profits and service providers to host a booth at its "Blast from the Past" Fall Carnival on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 2:30pm - 5:30pm


Cubberley is also seeking tax-deductible cash and equipment donations


Proceeds from the carnival benefit Cubberley's classrooms, enrichment programs and sports groups
