Councilmember Gary DeLong to open Long Beach Junior Crew 22nd Annual Invitational Regatta
Long Beach, Saturday and Sunday, April 21-22
Next Saturday and Sunday, Long Beach Junior Crew is hosting the largest junior rowing regatta in Southern California. LBJC is proud to announce that District 3 Long Beach City Councilmember Gary DeLong will lead the official ribbon cutting ceremony to open the 22nd Long Beach Junior Invitational on Saturday starting at 7:30 A.M. This event takes place in historic Long Beach Marine Stadium. Rowing teams will be coming from Northern California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Washington, and Baja California. Twenty-four teams are expected to compete in the 1400 meter sprints.
