The next 3rd District Neighborhood Association lunch will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Long Beach Yacht Club (6201 East Appian Way) at 11:45 AM. I will be taking reservations for lunch (Oriental Chicken Salad) at a cost of $15. A vegetarian meal option is available upon request. Please call or e-mail your response before Tuesday, May 14, 2013.  
 
Our guest speaker will be Nancy M. Baggott, TSA Federal Security Director at the Long Beach Airport. Ms. Baggott was appointed as Long Beach Airport’s first on-scene Security Director in March 2008 and is responsible for 161 employees and overseeing the security screening at the Long Beach Airport.  Prior to joining the TSA, Ms. Baggott's background includes positions as a senior manager for FedEx and a Command Sergeant Major in the United States Army Reserves.
