This week, we give thanks for all of the things that we are most gracious for.
This year, I am thankful for family, friends, and the amazing residents of the Ninth District, who have come together through another economically challenging year. Although we have hit some rough spots, I'm encouraged by the way we have collectively responded. I look forward to the opportunities that await us in 2012, and continuing to represent this amazing community.
Next, on December 9, at 9AM at Jordan High School, I am hosting a breakfast with small businesses along the North Atlantic Avenue corridor, to provide resources and support for our small business community in the Ninth District. If you are a small business operator along the North Atlantic Ave corridor, please be sure to mark your calendars and RSVP to Kari Faithful at (562) 570-6137.
Lastly, congratulations to the Andy Street Multi-Family Improvement District on a very successful Turkey and Gift Basket Giveaway. Over 90 people attended, and a total of 65 Turkeys were handed out. Special thanks to Paramount Petroleum and Assemblymember Isadore Hall on donating the Turkay and Gift Baskets.
Lastly, as we are beginning our rainy season, please be sure to report all instances of potholes, fallen tree branches etc. If we all help out, we can ensure that out neighborhoods remain clean and intact. Click here to report these items.
Enjoy your holiday week!
