Long Beach Municipal Band and the Mayor's Proposal to Cut Funding

Dear Residents,
Many of you have contacted me regarding the Mayor's proposal to cut funding for the Long Beach Municipal Band.
I have posted a detailed memo concerning how much the City spends each year for this summer concert series ($432,419 or $16,000 a concert) and efforts the city has undertaken to find funding. Read the entire memo here.
