On Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at approximately 7:00 p.m., East Division Community Policing officers, with the assistance of Narcotics and Gang Enforcement detectives, served a search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of Cherry Avenue, which resulted in the arrest of 9 adults.
Based on complaints from the community and a lengthy on-going investigation, Long Beach officers served the search warrant and arrested 2 males and 5 females. A significant amount of what appeared to be Rock Cocaine and Marijuana was confiscated. All the suspects, who are either members or associates of the Insane Crips Gang, were booked for narcotics charges, as well as various other charges, and are being held at the Long Beach City Jail.
The individuals arrested are as follows:
Over the past weekend, two other suspects had also been arrested for drug sales at Cherry Avenue residence. They are 55 year-old Long Beach resident Andrew Williams, and 22 year-old Long Beach resident Donti Jordan.
